Hi Church Family!
For this week's Sunday service, Pastor Jedidiah will preach on "Love", based on 1 Corinthians 13. After the service, join us downstairs at Fellowship Cafe in the lower auditorium. We will have several Bible studies starting at 11:45am.
The foyer work has been progressing! Praise God the materials have been delivered for the roof repair and the electrical inspection has been passed. We are now installing dry wall, so you will notice new plastic on the floor as you enter the sanctuary - please walk carefully!
Early risers are welcome at 9:30am for a coffee and fellowship time in room 14 or the chapel.
Office Closed
Tuesday, Nov 11 -
The church office will be closed that day, no Women's Bible Study, no Exercise Class, but the Young Adults are still happening.

On behalf of the Mission team, I (Eileen) want to highlight and announce the projects we have chosen to invite your participation. As we enter the month of November we are journeying toward the darkest time of year. I am not a morning person and with the turning back of our clocks I will be missing the evening daylight hour. But what a blessing we have to celebrate Christ's birth at that time and to bring the light of the gospel into the world, and what an opportunity we have to share that light.
There are 6 projects to consider. See Emily Cook's YFC Fundraising Dinner announcement above.
Shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child
Rose Wenger volunteers for Operation Christmas Child and she is willing to provide shoeboxes if people would like to fill them. Look for her at a table in the foyer on Sunday. The boxes are due back at the church by Sunday, November 16th. If you have any questions or are interested please talk to Rose.
Multiply - Ilya & Marissa Plotnikov C8019
Ilya & Marissa Plotnikov will be leaving for their mission trip to Thailand at the end of this month. Praise God! They have raised enough funds and their goal has been reached.
The Dry Bean/Pea fundraiser
A table will be set up in the foyer at the end of November to receive donations toward the purchase of dry beans to be sent to Manitoba Harvest for distribution. Information will be available at the table on benefits of this food source. Donations will be receipted using a PAC envelope with that designation, or you can give online or via e-transfer with memo "Dry Bean Fund".
Christmas Hampers
This year we will again be setting up a station for donations of non-perishable food that will be sorted into hampers for distribution to families in church, Emily's YFC food pantry, and in addition, Living Bible Explorers. A list of suggested items will be posted, or you can bring your favorite food item to bless someone in need.
Donate to UGM
This year for a ministry project we are adding the opportunity to donate to UGM. Poverty and homelessness are sadly increasing in Winnipeg, and we strongly endorse this agency as a compassionate, Christ-centered ministry. Donations to this will be receipted. Just write UGM on the line marked “Other" on a donation envelope, or give online or via e-transfer with memo "UGM."
