"There is no problem of discipline in a graveyard; there is no problem very much in a formal church. The problems arise when there is life. A poor sickly child is not difficult to handle, but when that child is well and full of life and of vigour, well, then you have your problems.' - Martyn Lloyd-Jones
Hi Church Family!
For this week's Sunday service, we will be starting a new sermon series - "An Empowered Church: A Study of 1 Corinthians." Pastor Jedidiah will be preaching on "Name Above All Names" to start the series off.
We are using a different translation service this week - please let Jeremy know your feedback at jeremy@pachurch.ca.
Early risers are welcome at 9:30am for a coffee and fellowship time in room 14 or the chapel.
Following the service we will enjoy Fellowship Cafe together in the lower auditorium and various Bible studies will be happening at 11:45 am (we will ring a bell to let you know when they are starting.)
Building Security Meeting June 1
If you are a building supervisor, a parking lot patroller, or a keyholder of any kind, we invite you to join us for a meeting on June 1, after Fellowship Cafe. We will provide a pizza lunch, because we anticipate meeting for a while into the afternoon.
IMPORTANT UPDATE - EXCITING CHANGES ARE CONTINUING :-)
Due to our foyer renovations most of the foyer will be blocked off, so everyone is strongly encouraged to use our south doors for entry / exit. You can hang your jackets in the hallway with the mailboxes, or use the racks downstairs.
If you have mobility issues you are still welcome to use the main doors.
Since there is worship practice and prayer happening in the sanctuary until 9:45am, the doors to the sanctuary will remain closed until then. We kindly ask that movement through the sanctuary be kept to a minimum until 9:45am.

Praise Wall
Our foyer is being renovated because of ceiling damage, and it's the perfect opportunity to continue updating this area into an even more relational space! Once the old tiles came down, many decisions had to be made based on what was found under them, and much work still has to be done.
While that ongoing work happens, we have a temporary praise wall up, where anyone can write down praise items and hang them up! We hope you will check it out and be encouraged by what others have shared.

Looking Forward... to picnics!
Everyone is invited to our church family picnics this summer! They will be right after our church service on Sundays. Please bring food for your family plus some to share with others. Also bring chairs. The site we have reserved has a shelter and fields nearby for some games.
